Functions of the Mindfield eSense App

The eSense comes with the Mindfield eSense app, which you can download for free from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). With version 8, the app has been rebuilt on a completely new technical foundation (Capacitor 7) – with more stability and a tidied-up user interface.

It offers a wealth of features for effective biofeedback training: display of the measured values as a bar graph and oscilloscope, feedback via video, music, sound or vibration, a comprehensive evaluation after each measurement, as well as comparing measurements in the archive and exporting them as a CSV file and PDF report.

Features at a glance (version 8.x)

• Feedback channels: bar graph, oscilloscope, video, music, sounds, tactile feedback (vibration) and threshold feedback.
• Breathing trainer: guided breathing with adjustable inhale, exhale and hold times.
• Procedures: create, copy and share your own training sequences. See Procedures overview.
• Archive: save and compare measurements, export them as CSV/PDF and ZIP, and delete them selectively (see Supervisor guide).
• Account & Cloud: store measurements locally and in the cloud, access them across devices and share them with a supervisor. See Account and Cloud.
• Apple Health & Health Connect: transfer selected measured values into the health ecosystems. See Apple Health and Health Connect by Android.
• Smart bulbs: Philips Hue as visual biofeedback. See Smart bulbs.

The app is available in 14 languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Chinese, Hungarian and Russian. The language is selected automatically at startup based on the device setting and can be changed on the start screen (see Changing the language in the app).
